Does my insurance cover windshield replacement?

Most comprehensive insurance policies in Ontario cover windshield replacement. JT Auto Glass Repair Ottawa can verify your coverage, assist with the claim, and directly bill your insurer.

Do I need to contact my insurance company first?

No. You can call JT Auto Glass Repair Ottawa first. We walk you through the claim, contact your insurance provider on your behalf, and handle all paperwork for you.

Will filing a windshield claim raise my insurance rates?

Windshield claims are usually filed under comprehensive coverage, not collision. These typically do not raise your insurance rates, but policy terms vary by insurer.

How long does an insurance-approved windshield replacement take?

Most insurance-approved windshield replacements can be completed the same day. JT Auto Glass Repair Ottawa offers fast service and lifetime installation warranty.

Can I drive while waiting for insurance approval?

In many cases, yes—but not if the crack obstructs your vision. JT Auto Glass Repair Ottawa can advise and help accelerate insurance approval to minimize downtime.

Do you offer same-day windshield replacement in Ottawa?

Yes — JT Auto Glass Repair offers same-day mobile windshield replacement across Ottawa and surrounding areas, subject to glass availability. Call (613) 854-4527 for the fastest scheduling.

Does insurance cover windshield replacement?

In most cases, yes. If you carry comprehensive coverage, your policy typically covers windshield replacement. We work directly with all major insurers and handle the claim paperwork for you — in many cases there's $0 out of pocket.

How much of my deductible do I pay?

Many customers pay nothing out of pocket. If a deductible applies, we cover up to 50% of it — up to $150 — to keep your cost as low as possible.

What warranty do you offer?

Every windshield replacement includes a lifetime warranty on workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle, plus a 1-year warranty on manufacturer glass defects.

Do you recalibrate ADAS cameras after windshield replacement?

Yes. Our in-house technicians perform ADAS camera recalibration after every windshield replacement that requires it, so your safety systems work exactly as the manufacturer intended.

Do you come to my home or office?

Yes — our mobile service covers Ottawa, Kanata, Barrhaven, Orléans, Nepean and surrounding areas. We can also pick up your vehicle, or you're welcome to visit our shop at 2584 Edinburgh Pl, Unit #9.

I highly recommend this company be your first call for windshield repair! They have the best price in the Outaouais region for windshield repair. The gentleman we dealt with was highly skilled and knowledgeable. It was a very comfortable environment to wait in, even with a baby. They were very patient and kind too, my baby had not finished feeding when my vehicle was finished so we were invited to take as long as we needed to take care of the baby. They made me feel I was welcome even after their job was completed.
